About PIPPINN

Bridging the gap between
expertise and the organisations
that need it

PIPP Information Non-Profit (PIPPINN) was established as a social enterprise and certified not-for-profit CIC to improve the quality, accuracy and accessibility of support available to organisations who navigate the UK disability benefit system.

Across the UK, charities, advice services, support organisations, and legal professionals are regularly asked to assist people with complex benefit applications and assessments, Mandatory Reconsiderations, and appeals. However, the PIP system in particular is highly technical, evidence-based and often misunderstood.

PIPPINN exists to bridge this gap. Our organisation provides training, guidance and practical resources to help other organisations confidently support their service users through the disability benefit process.

Our Goal

“To empower organisations with the knowledge and tools needed to deliver effective, accurate and compassionate benefit support.”

Why It Matters

Why specialist training makes a real difference

Assessment criteria are misunderstood

The PIP system is highly technical. Without specialist knowledge, staff may inadvertently provide incomplete or inaccurate guidance.

Evidence is not presented effectively

Knowing what evidence matters — and how to present it — can be the difference between a successful and unsuccessful claim.

Decision letters are misinterpreted

Understanding how decisions are made helps organisations identify errors and advise on next steps with confidence.

Claimants lack advocacy support

Organisations working directly with vulnerable individuals are often best placed to help — but need the specialist knowledge to do so.

By equipping organisations with the right knowledge and tools, we can collectively improve outcomes for claimants and reduce unnecessary stress, delays and appeals.
